Everyday Mathematics is used as the foundation of our math program and is supplemented with math manipulatives, games and individual skills packets to support and challenge students at different levels of the program.

Stocks


Third graders have all chosen a stock and are following the ups and downs of the market! This weekly exercise reinforces working with decimals, dollar signs, subtraction (figuring out the differences in prices), multiplication (value of ten shares vs one), as well as navigating the web for their stock prices. Students each own one share of the following stocks and will to follow their stock until the end of the year:
